UM Sports Hall of Fame & Museum Celebrity Fishing Tournament – June 20-22, 2024

The University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame & Museum is excited to announce that the 2024 Celebrity Fishing Tournament is going to be held in the Florida Keys! The tournament, which began in 2011 in Key Largo and was then held for 7 years in Islamorada, then a short stent in Miami, has returned to the Keys.  The event will be hosted at the Islamorada Resort Collection in the heart of Islamorada. A pre-tournament party will be held at Gary Dunn’s Ocean View on steak night, Thursday June 20th from 7-9PM.  An amazing tournament kickoff party will be held on Friday June 21st at La Siesta Resort & Villas at 5PM with celebrities in attendance.  Fishing is on Saturday June 22nd with the weigh in followed by a gala awards banquet at La Siesta Resort & Villas.  The tournament has raised funds for such charities at The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, Habitat for Humanity of the Upper Keys and the Coastal Conservation Society, and this year supports the Ari Arteaga Foundation, as well as the UMSHoF&M.

The UM Sports Hall of Fame & Museum is a 501c3 non-profit organization that honors the student-athletes that have brought acclaim to the university. The museum is open free to the public weekdays from 12-5 pm on the Coral Gables campus.
