2025 Fan Fest and Celebrity Fishing Tournament

The University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame & Museum invites you to join us in Islamorada, Florida June 19th through the 21st for the 2025 Fan Fest and Celebrity Fishing Tournament.  The events will kick off with a party at the UM Hall of Famer Gary Dunn’s Ocean View Inn and Sports Pub, known to locals as the O.V, on Thursday June 19th. This star-studded event sponsored by Spencer “CaneDoc” Kellogg and Tito’s Handmade Vodka, provides a unique meet-and-greet opportunity for fans and anglers alike.

The festivities continue Friday at Three Waters Resort and Marina. The beach will be abuzz with raffles, auctions, and gifts marking the official start of the fishing tournament sponsored by Coastal Metals. Fans, anglers and friends will be greeted by UM celebrity mascot Sebastian along with a plethora of Hall of Famers and Celebrities.  The vendor village, including Bean Automotive Group and Marine Max will host a number of exciting new products and gifts for anglers.

Fishing begins on Saturday for anglers and celebrities alike.  If you are not fishing, you can join us for the Family Fun Day at Theater of the Sea sponsored by Judy Pantoja-McCabe of Morgan Stanley.  This fun event includes sea lions, dolphin and parrot shows for the kids and parents.  The tournament weigh-in begins at 2:30 at Three Waters Marina.  Fans, anglers, friends and families are welcome to join in on the fun with beverages sponsored by the UM Sports Hall of Fame & Museum’s President -Elect Mark Drobiarz’s ABC Bartending School. The festivities will culminate with an awards party on the beach on Saturday evening.  After dinner awards will be presented along with auction and raffle prizes.
